DOT ORAL FLUID COLLECTOR TRAIN-THE-TRAINER

Besides getting you trained as a Trainer, this training program offers a thorough computer-based course on the collection of oral fluid specimens in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Participants can conveniently complete the training from their home or office environment. This course serves as the initial step toward qualifying individuals to perform DOT oral fluid specimen collections, culminating in the issuance of a certificate of completion. In compliance with DOT regulations outlined in 49 CFR Part 40, it is mandatory to study Section 40.35. Additionally, participants will fulfill the requirement of a proficiency demonstration (Mock Collections), which are included in this course. Final session will gain you credentials as a trainer.

• Understand the legal and ethical aspects associated with DOT oral fluid drug testing, encompassing confidentiality, privacy, and adherence to federal regulations and guidelines.
• Acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully pass the qualification examination to become a certified trainer in the proper collection and handling of oral fluid specimens for DOT drug testing, culminating in the receipt of a certificate of completion.
