DOT URINE SPECIMEN COLLECTOR TRAINING AND MOCKS

MOCK COLLECTIONS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS COURSE

The DOT Drug Testing Collector course is an interactive web course which will train the collector in compliance with the Department of Transportation’s CFR 49 part 40 requirements for specimen collectors. Students will learn the safety and security protocols necessary to complete a urine specimen collection in accordance with DOT guidelines in addition to several additional “best practices” tips. Upon completion of the course and a successful exam pass, students will receive a completion certificate for proof of certification.

The course will not cover rapid testing, which is not used for DOT drug screening. The course is comprised of a brief introduction, a regulation “study period,” a full presentation, a written exam, and a proficiency demonstration.

• Trainees will learn to successfully and flawlessly conduct a urine specimen collection under the guidelines as set forth in the Department of Transportation’s 49 CFR Part 40 guidelines for collection.
• Trainees will learn how to utilize the resources provided when conducting a drug screening collection when necessary.
• Trainees will also become familiar with industry-specific vocabulary, acronyms, and other jargon commonly used.
